Everything is energy thoughts begin it, emotions amplify it and actions increase its momentum.

When we brew our high-quality candle wax and mix it with earth's precious natural oils, then pour and dedicate the offering under a new or full moon, they vibrate with the positive energy of all that is possible in the realm of spiritual manifestation.

The benefits of capturing the moon energy cannot be understated. The oils used can help heal the body, mind and spirit and influence our mood.

The 5 elements are used in each candle a magickly

Earth: candle wax, crystals and earths precious oils symbolising stability and the foundation of life

Water: melted wax symbolising the transcendence of the Earthly condition

Fire: candle flame symbolising wisdom and knowledge

Air: rising smoke symbolising the material manifestation of the soul’s journey

Spirit: the focus of our energy and infusing the candle with our intention

A simple lit candle has the power to guide and transform. Candles are one an essential tools in rituals and ceremonies around the world because they are versatile and easy to obtain. Candles are also a point of intersection, where our daily mindfulness practices interact with our desire to illuminate and enliven various aspects of our lives.

Prepare a space in your home or place of work for you to light your candle. An altar has the added power of focus and is usually built or created on a raised surface, a small table, shelf, pile of books with a cloth whatever you have to hand. Keep it as a special place dedicated for a purpose. Place protective boundaries around it and keep it clear and decluttered.

Choose items including a Triquetra candle with intention, with this intention this altar becomes a sacred place. You can also place items of meaning and items from the 5 elements to fuel your altar with energy to tap into every time you return to the space. This space can also call you as you pass by and encourage you to take some time out and connect in. Having this space in your home means you can connect to spirit daily and over time entering this space can have a positive effect on you.

“That which is placed on the altar is altered.” ~Marianne Williamson

Moon energy can be harnessed at any time. It's best channeled in meditation, ceremony, and ritual. By aligning with the moon's phases, you can allow moon energy to reinvent, recharge, realign, or rebirth you with every cycle of expansion.

The NEW MOON is a fresh start. With it comes the energy of new beginnings, the start of a new lunar cycle.

A New Moon is a time of new beginnings. This magical moon phase provides a reset where goals are renewed, desires are set, and new intentions are made.

A FULL MOON with its intense amount of energy, is a good time for releasing and manifesting. If you are feeling stuck or are having difficulty moving towards your goals, use this opportunity to tap into the full moon's energy to bring growth into your life.

A Full Moon Triquetra Candle Ritual to Decrease Stress

Time: 10 minutes

  • Triquetra Candle

  • Lighter to light the candle

  • Small bowl of salt

  • Journal

  1. Set up a simple altar or table top so that the candle is in the centre of the space, the bowl of salt is directly in front of the candle and matches to light the candle are nearby.

  2. Take a moment to cultivate calmness within with a few deep breaths.

  3. As your breathing slows, become aware of where in your body you hold stress. Make a note of this in your journal.

  4. Breathe into the specific area (s) of your body where you hold your stress and ask this part of your body if there is anything it would like you to know. Listen.

  5. Write down the three biggest current stressors in your life - go with whatever come to mind.

  6. Holding these three stressors in your mind and in your body, light the candle.

  7. Allow yourself a few moments watching the candle burn, then as you are ready call out the first area of stress - name it out loud. As you do so, see, sense, touch, know, hear, and feel the candle flame taking it up and melting it away just as it melts wax.

  8. Repeat this process for the other two stressors you named.

  9. Once all three areas of stress have been taken up and burned away from the candle flame, allow yourself to take a deep breath, noting how you feel in mind and in body.

  10. On your out breath, release any final tension that is ready to leave.

  11. Allow the candle to safely burn out using a candle snuffer or lid. Pour a small amount of the hot melted wax (be careful not to burn yourself) into a bowl and release it to the earth (under a tree or grass).

  12. Your final ritual act is to take the bowl of salt and use it with water to wash your hands, effectively purifying and sealing the stress-free space that you have created.
